BARN MANAGER: (Not Hiring) - $1.50 a month
Current Barn Manager: Saera
Roleplay Quality Expected: High
The barn manager is just a step below the owner of the dream. S/he must be a highly trusted person (has share), capable of decision-making in the absence of the dream owner. This person's duties include confirming boarding applications, supervising all of the other staff members, and helping new furres feel welcome in the dream.
VETERINARIAN: (Not Hiring) - $1.00 a month
Current Veterinarian: Gabrielle Florez
Roleplay Quality Expected: High
The veterinarian oversees the health care of all of the horses at Four Star Farms, and also is in charge of any veterinary technicians. The vet administers vaccinations, performs wellness check-ups, and is on call for any illnesses or injuries. This is a roleplay-intensive job and the vet should expect to be roleplaying on at least a weekly basis.
TRAINER: (Hiring 2-3 more) - $1.00 a month

Roleplay Quality Expected: Moderate
Trainers work directly with the horses of Four Star Farms to hone their skills. Typically they are responsible for making the for-sale horses more "sellable" by working on any vices they may have and furthering the horse's training to more advanced levels. Trainers may also work with the owned horses (with owner's permission) to problem-solve or work on new skills. Some trainers specialize in one or two specific disciplines, and this is fine.
RIDING INSTRUCTOR: (Hiring 1-2 more) - $1.00 a month

Riding instructors do just what the name implies -- teach riding! Of all the staff in the dream, riding instructors are expected to be exceptionally friendly to newcomers and to offer to roleplay with them at *their* speed, remembering that a lot of OOC guiding may be required.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN: (Hiring 1-2 more) - $0.75 a month
Current Veterinary Technicians: none
Roleplay Quality Expected: Moderate
Veterinary technicians follow the care instructions of the veterinarian while working with potentially sick or injured horses. They are expected to assist the veterinarian whenever possible and to check on horses that are in recovery.
GROOM: (Hiring 1-2 more) - $0.50 a month

Roleplay Quality Expected: Average
Grooms at Four Star Farms are responsible for the day-to-day activities around the farm. In addition to grooming horses, they are responsible for exercising them by riding or lunging, following the feeding and turn-out schedules, mucking stalls, and cleaning tack. While the job doesn't pay exceptionally well, it is not uncommon for private owners to tip a groom for a job well done.

Payday is the 1st of the month for the last month worked. For example, pay for the month of January will be given out February 1st. This will be done through Secure Trade if you are online, or just gifted to your character otherwise. We are not responsible for pay not received. Pay will ONLY be given to the character with the job here, if you want to transfer it to an alt, do it yourself afterwards.
Eligibility to receive pay begins with your first full month here. If you are hired halfway through the month, you can choose to start immediately (you might get a bonus...) or start on the 1st of the next month.
Records of all of your staff-related roleplays must be kept and the logs must be posted in the staff forum that will be set up for you once hired. Roleplaying with horses that you own will not count in your records; please do not post them. (If you're RPing with another character and your horse happens to just be hanging out in the background, that's fine, but the main focus of the RP must be on your job, not your horse.) Obviously, roleplays with yourself do not count, and anyone caught doing this and trying to pass it off for pay will not only lose their job but also be banished from FSF. You must roleplay on your staff alt a minimum of 3 times a month to be eligible for pay. Logs must be posted within 3 days of the roleplay to be valid.
Absences will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. There are no "paid vacations". Please let us know that you will be absent for the month -before- you are gone. (Contacting via PM on this forum is preferred.) A full month's absence without notice is typically grounds for termination.
Bonuses are given for working events, both outside of the dream (such as Groups and Guilds Day) and inside the dream (auctions, shows, etc.). The amount of these bonuses will depend on hours worked and the quality of work we "receive", but can be quite impressive for a job well done! Bonuses may also be given for staff that roleplays ahead of the required "3 roleplays per month" (essentially 'working overtime').
YOU WILL LOSE YOUR JOB if I find you doing the following: working at another dream on the same alt, forging roleplays in any manner including but not limited to roleplaying with yourself, breaking FSF rules repeatedly after warning or with intent, or exposing flaws or "broken DS" in the dream to anyone other than Wynd. Warnings will be issued depending on the severity of the offense.
Legal stuff: All "pay" will be awarded in DragonScales, not USD or any other currency. Owner of the dream has the right to cancel this program at any time without any notice for any reason. Also, you might explode.
