If you are interested in starting a breeding program, please reply here with the following form filled out. Please have logfiles of recent (within 30 days) roleplays with each of your horses ready for us to see. The foundation horses in your program must also already be accepted for boarding here -- meaning they have roleplayed with management to confirm their stall.
Bear in mind that we are looking for programs that fit into the general scheme of FSF. Examples of good programs would be eventing horses, warmbloods, hunter/jumpers, show ponies, and breed-specific programs relating to the advancement of that breed in English-type shows.

Your Furcadia Name: Julia Winter IC Full Name: Julia Marie Winter Breeding Program Title: Four Star Arabians Breed(s)/Type(s) of Horses: Arabians of all kinds Discipline(s): Various English Mission Statement: The overall mission and goal of Four Star Arabians is to reignite the popularity and love of the majestic and beautiful horses that has seemed to die out. Our attempts to do this are shown in primarily shows and producing top of the line offspring, but also potentially in leisure rides, lessons, and discussions. Foundation Horses: (must have at least 2) --1. Name: Jameela (Sultan's Beautiful Wish) Breed: Egyptian Arabian Short Description Jameela. Obsidian mare would lip up the beautiful blades of grass that grew from the earth, ears listening to the quiet and gentle sounds of the outdoors. Snort exhaled from nares as whipcord flicked at the flies that dare touch her silky coat. Ears perking towards the approaching footsteps, head would rise up, chewing on the few blades of grass she had snatched up. Seeing the human, whicker would emit from her vocal chords as she trotted up to the fence, tail held high and proud. Stopping just at the fence, she would reach her muzzle across, nares flaring to gather the scent from the human. --2. Name: Riverdance Breed: Arabian Short Description: Rivers and cascading waterfalls of ash, silver, and charcoal splashed down upon the exquisite butterfly of an Arabian. Dainty limbs, each slender and delicate, haughtily carried the snooty coquette, feigning a facade of sweetness. No sir, this is no pumpkin pie you have on your hands. A true delight to her keepers, the grey rose held a few thorns of her own in regards to her comrades of the equine race. All the same, the prima donna was light of step and possessed ethereal qualities of elegance, sublimity, and splendor. Surely this beautiful and graceful creature is but a nymph, and not a horse at all? Neither: she was an Arabian
Role play with Jameela: Julia Winter had been busy today. She had found Ella's vice yesterday and after the work out, Julia had done a quick rinse-off and then returned Ella to a stall. Today, Julia thought, was supposed to be easy. But, as New Year's, it seemed everyone was busy which meant more work for her - as a manager at Four Star, she was required to make sure everything was correct and all the rules were obeyed. Somehow, though, she managed to find time to talk to Ms. Sharphowl about her boarding application for Ella. Of course, it was accepted and now Wyndlily simply had to decide which stall to place Ella in. After her discussion with her boss, Julia asked a groom to completely groom the Arabian while Julia did an afternoon check of the premisis. Now that was completed and Julia had returned to the main barn and immediately found her mare, hopefully cleaned. (You decide if the groom did their job.) Jameela had stood quietly in the stall, having a stablehand groom her fully. Of course it wasn't her owner that was doing it, however at least someone was doing it, and she knew her human loved her. When Julia came into sight while the stablehand cleaned out her hooves, Ella emitted a loud whicker towards the blonde-headed human. Muzzle outstreched towards the door, awaiting for the human to enter, if she did. You say, "(You playing as the groom still being there?)" Jameela: ( Yeah. He's cleaning out her hooves. ) You say, "(Alright. I'm going to play as if she's already been washed and all that good stuff.)" Jameela: ( Kk. ) Julia Winter turned the corner and stood outside the stall, staring inside through the maroon bars. A smile, as usual, was on her face. She glanced at the groom and then to the horse. "Hey, Ella," she said softly as she resumed watching the groom finish the hooves. It seemed as if he was almost done. When he was finished, Julia thanked him kindly and then entered the enclosure after he left. "Hey, girl," she greeted the Arabian again, placing a hand on the side of her dished cranium, between the straps of the halter. Jameela would stand still, as the stablehand cleaned her hooves, giving him a small nudge on the back when he exited the stall, after he was finished. Feeling the hand on her cheek, she would lean into it, whickering softly, enjoying the time that they had together. Julia Winter enjoyed that the duo shared such a bond, and that Ella was such an affectionate being. A smirk crossed her fair lips, "Now that you're all clean, lets work you again." Julia took the lead rope she had been carrying and attached it to Ella's halter. The same as the previous day was done - the Arabian was taken out of the stall, tied at a crosstie in the aisle, and then adorned with the regular riding equipment. When all that was done, she was removed from the crossties and taken into the indoor arena, which was much warmer than the outside arena this time of year. Your request has been sent to Jameela. Jameela begins to follow you. To break off, click here or type `stop and press <enter>. Jameela. Once again, the mare stood still, and quietly for the human, while her bodice was adorned with the english tack, taking the bit when it was presented in front of her mouth. Following suit behind her, prancing it seemed, towards the familiar area of the stable. Waiting quietly for the human to do what she needed before she mounted. Stopped leading Jameela. Julia Winter settled in a familiar location in the indoor arena and then moved to the left side of the mare. She took a deep breath and attempted to mount the mare as she did yesterday, settling in the saddle with the reins in her hands. She was going to find a way to break the vice that Ella had, even if it meant herself getting injured - or finding a trainer to do it. All vices could be broken. Julia waited to see what the mare would do, prepared to take some action. Jameela felt the human mount on her. Standing still until she settled herself before she started her little rearing fit. Though, Ella only lasted a few seconds with her rearing fit, before she pranced in place, and then started up again. Snorting slightly while doing it, she would continue to see what her human would do. Julia Winter was a little disappointed when she felt the fit start, but immediately she grabbed the reins and turned. "Woah," she said harshly. She didn't want to say 'no' while turning the mare because then it may get confused that the rein pull did not mean turning. If the mare would halt her fit and begin to turn, Julia would then halt her and sigh softly. If not, then there would have to be another course of action taken. Jameela. Mare had been caught before the second fit was into action. Turning in the direction that Julia made her go, she would turn, obeying her owner like she was taught to do. Once the pressure was released, she would stop her rearing fit and stand in the direction that they had started, huffing softly. Head shook slightly, before she then waited for the first cue. Julia Winter would not reward Ella by a cue, but simply said, "Good girl" for her calming down. When Ella was settled, Julia dismounted and stood next to the mare. "You will stop having rearing fits," Julia said sternly, even though she knew the Arabian could not process what she was saying. Julia would wait about a minute before remounting the mare as she had before - carefully settling in the saddle and holding the reins firmly in her hands, prepared to take the same action as before. Jameela. Mare was confused, though she didn't understand the rewarding tone in her voice before she dismounted, then heard the stern tone. Head was thrown up slightly, never really hearing a tone like that coming from her owner. Feeling her mount once again, equine would side-step slightly, and came off the ground, three times, then she settled, and waited for what Julia was to do next. Julia Winter noticed that Ella was starting to get it, with only a little fit before she settled on her own. A pleased auora came over her as Julia patted the mare's next. "Good girl," she said awardingly before stroking Ella's neck some more. When she was done rewarding the mare, she would would give the mare a little of what she had wanted. "Walk on," she said in her command voice. Jameela. Head was thrown slightly before she obeyed the command, happy that she was able to stretch her legs again. She would follow correctly, her neck in the crescent shape, and her nose dipped. She was a happy equine. Julia Winter was a little unhappy that she had to upset the mare, but it was only a temporary reward for Ella to get to stretch her legs. After a few paces were walked, Julia tugged gently on the reins. "Woah," she said in that same commanding voice. When Ella would stop, Julia would rub her neck. "Good girl," she said before dismounting yet again. Jameela. Confused, Ella stopped when she felt the tug and the voice command. Bobbing her head when she was praised, she would feel the weight leave her back, which seemed to confuse her more. Head would turn to look back at the human, trying to 'ask' why she kept getting on and getting off. Julia Winter sighed softly at the look and smiled sweetly. "You are going to only be rewarded for a certain time until your vice is gone," she explained in hopes the horse would understand - even though Julia knew Ella couldn't comprehend. After a few moments of standing on the ground, Julia once again remounted. As before, she settled quickly and held the reins firmly, ready to judge what Ella would do. Jameela huffed softly, standing still while the female, once again mounted onto the saddle. This time, success. Ella didn't rear, only her head turned and nudged at her rider's foot, wondering if she would be rewarded then, finally putting two and two together. Julia Winter surpressed a cheer, not wanting to startle the mare. A wide smile lit up Julia's face in accomplishment of the task completed. "Excellent job, Ella!" The praise was obvious as she stroked the muscular, cresent neck of the Arabian-bred mare. After several moments of praising her horse, Julia finally decided it was time to let the mare have some fun. "Walk on," she said in her command voice, but even that seemed to have a cheerier glow to it. Jameela heard the excitement in the human, also felt the atmosphere from her that made the mare just as excited. Hearing the cue, she would indeed, walk on, having a particular spring to her step while she knew what she didn't do, what she did in past times. Seeming to make a mental note not to rear or side-stepped when someone mounted. Maybe a lesson horse in her late future when she retired? Endless possibilities came for her now. Julia Winter walked the mare around the arena before shifting a little in the saddle. A clicking noise was made with her tongue, signaling for a trot. It was nice to know that Julia seemed to break Ella's only vice and she very well knoew what could happen when Ella retired. She'd not only make a fine broodmare, but also would make an excellent lesson horse now. Jameela heard the next cue, and once again, Ella would swiftly transition into the next gait. Tail was held up slightly, showing off her pure Arabian blood. Prancing in the trot, she would follow where the human wanted her to go. Julia Winter lead the mare around the arena twice before she made the kissing noise and pressed her leg against the barrel of the Arabian, signaling for a canter. Julia would lead Jameela around the arena three times at a canter before pulling slightly on the reins and saying "Woah," to slow back down to a trot. Jameela. Transitioning into the canter swiftly, she would hold her tail up higher, cantering swiftly around the arena three times, before transitioning back down to the trot. Boy, with these smooth transitions she'd be flawless in the show rin. Jameela: ( Ring* ) Julia Winter'd trot the female for one lap and then say "Woah" again, while pulling on the reins to bring her to a walk. The walk would go for the length of one of the sides of the arena before a final "Woah" was said and the mare was halted. Afterward, Julia would pat Jameela's neck. "Way to go, girl," she said softly and proudly. Jameela would trot respectively around the length of the arena, before slowing to the walk, and then the halt. Bobbing her head, like understand the praise she was receiving, female would prance in place, out of peer excitement. Julia Winter would continue praising the mare for a few moments before doing an about-turn and facing the mare the opposite direction. The previous night she hadn't gotten the chance to make sure Ella was able to go in either direction in her movement. After making sure she was positioned correctly, Julia gave the cue - "Walk on." Jameela would turn to the corrective spot, and would then proceed to walk on in the opposite direction. Neck and muzzle would be placed in the correct position as she made that walk with a spring to her step.
Role play with Riverdance: Julia Winter had a busy day, now that everyone was getting back into the normal routine after the holidays. She had finished checking everything that the employees had done and was intending to take a nice relaxing TV-watch with a cup of cocoa, but she had one more thing she needed to tend to. Julia, a manager at Four Star Farms, had received word that there was yet another new boarder. Well, at least temporarily. Julia preferred to personally check out each newcomer, partially so she knew which stablehand to assign to the horse. This one, though, was said to be an Arabian mare - which immediately sparked more than a little interest. So, on her way to the loft, Julia stopped by the corner stall in which she was told the mare was held. A smile formed on her lips as soon as she saw the ashen beauty. She observed. "Riverdance," she repeated the name she recalled from paperwork to herself. Riverdance: Snooty is as snooty does. The Arabian slept in comfort in her new, foreign sleeping quarters. She had been moved here not long ago. She was angelic for the most part, except when the neighboring horses had interest in her. She had pinned her ears back and lashed out with her teeth at them; her idea of a greeting. The sterling mare soon adjusted to her new surroundings, falling into a slumber upon her four legs. When the young woman happened by her stall, the sound of her boots scuffing against the floor (c) Riverdance: awoke her. Sable-tipped ears pricked forward, dished face raised to look at the blonde gazing at her. Sweet whuffling sounds percolated out from betwixt velvety black lips, pressing her muzzle against the closed bars to get a better whiff of her. Julia Winter carefully placed her palm flat against the red bars, allowing the mare to get a better whiff of her sniff. Julia still smiled as she gazed over the grey Arabian. "You're such a beauty," she complimented quietly. "What I'd give to own you," she chuckled softly. Julia wasn't sure if she saw an owner on the paperwork, and she made a mental note to look that up soon. (So, would you mind Julia owning Riv and Riv being in a breeding program? :x) Disconnected from server.

Julia, your breeding program has been accepted. I think it'll be a great addition to FSF. Even though Arabians aren't traditionally used in eventing, there certainly are exceptions especially at the lower levels, and I'd love to see them!
