Sample RP Post:
The stallion did not like to have the horn placed in the middle of his forehead but, the sugar cubes he got after words made the temporary discomfort worth it. His head was given a nice rub by the horse handler as the next set of make up was done a little around the eyes bringing out the pink around his eyes as well as the pale blue of his eyes. He was calm as he had grown use to this all in the course of these demonstrations. He was just one of six other horses that were brought out in this very busy place to act along side humans as they filmed some thing. He needed his warm ups today as he was not on set but, the handler needed to keep him working and used to all the noise and the make up.
He was led out to the open grassed pasture next after all the combing and brushing was done to make that pure white pelt of his shine. The sun bothered him when out for too long but, he was good for at least five hours. He was the only horse in current use on this production that had the pure white color to his coat. This meant nothing to the stallion but, the humans said it was less work on the scenes with him or something like that. He could stand longer after a rub down with that smelly stuff the humans called, “Sun block.” The rope around his muzzle was taken off and he turned from the handler. He was allowed a small amount of play time before work would begin.
He came back as the handler clicked his tongue the stallion came to the mans left shoulder getting his pet on the nose before work began. The handler ran the working stick down the stallions frame working from the top of his head down to his neck, and then his back, and he finished with his rump and finally his legs. The stallion was asked with a simple gesture to back up and turn away. Rohirrim snorted lightly as he was pushed into a mild gallop. The stick was never used to hit him only to tell him where a target for his feet or his nose was. He was asked to do a sort of high stepping motion with his front legs and the click from the handler let the stallion know he was doing it right. He was asked to interact with a stand in walking up to a point and slowly extending his neck allowing his head with in range of her fingers. He was then told to snort and arch his neck back while pawing at the ground with his left front leg. The exercise was easier this time now that he knew where that blasted horn was on his head.
