Saera took dainty steps toward the pastures, pausing to top the water throughs and grin at familiar faces. A dark golden coat caught the feline's eye from afar-- an unmistakably beautiful mare was grazing at the last bites of weathered grass. Sae veered in her path and introduced herself to the palomino by holding out a leather-gloved hand. Her thumb perched well out of the way, as not to be mistaken for a treat.
Spazzled Parakeet grazed along the pasture idly; not really paying attention to anything going on at all. Only briefly did she pick her massive head up and spot the feline. Spazz had always been a social creature, and never would she turn a blind eye to strangers. In a relaxed walk, she approached the figure; snuffing at the gloved hand a moment or two, before nudging it softly.
Saera exposed her calm and down-to-earth vibes with a pressure-relieving grin, coupled with a soft, "Hey, girl," to the athletic mare. Following her voice was a gradually increasing trickle of wet snow, which triggered a shiver through her spine. Her black jacket was buttoned up to her neck, and presently she was donning a white knitted hat. Arms hugged around her front, the feline watched the snow gather and dissolve on the healthy coat. "I remember you," she said aloud. "You're Wynd's little treasure, Spazz!" Amused by the revelation, Saera bounced on her cold toes.
Spazzled Parakeet jerked slightly at the sudden noise, though soon turned calm again. Snow no longer bothered the filly; not that it really did in the first place. Once she learned that it wasn't out to eat her, she had a blast playing around in it. Spazz thingyed her head slightly at the excited feline infront of her, mildly curious as to why she acted so. There wasn't anything to cause it, well, not that she could see.
Saera decided she looked ridiculous, but she was hardly self-conscious; she bounced for a few more seconds before calming down. Snowflakes tickled her whiskers, and sat on them in rows by the dozen. The cat's hand would come up to swipe them every once in a while, but otherwise she kept still. There didn't seem to be a soul around-- the filly and girl were hard to make out even from meters away no thanks to the blowing snow.
Spazzled Parakeet eyed the feline as she bounced, still puzzled. However she soon got over it, and went to more pressing matters; like the fact that there was some yummy looking grass close by the gate. A moment or two of starting at them, she leaned down and chomped. As soon as the grass was good and gone, she turned her attention back on the feline, watching, or just staring.
Saera grimaced as the cold wind chilled her bones. "Do you like company?" She asked before squeezing into the tall-fenced paddock. Perhaps she thought the wind would be blocked by the wood, but it was most likely her desire to be friendly with the impressive horse. The girl held out her hand again to be polite, and if Spazzled accepted she'd reach out to carefully pat her golden neck.
