So you want to join a Strict RP Dream and its community?
You've read the web page; you've written an application; maybe you've even had an interview by a staffer of the the Dream. But, having made all that effort, what if the Dream's inhabitants aren't very welcoming? Or, what if, after all that work, you still aren't rewarded with any roleplaying?
If this has happened to you, you're not alone, of course.
It's not uncommon. I've heard alot of furres complain that this or that place was "clique-ish" or "elitist". On the other paw, I've heard alot of Strict Dream staff say that new arrivals have unrealistic expectations.
After investigating this situation, I think I've found that newcomers generally have fair expectations but they often make relatively innocent mistakes that causes the established RPers to avoid them.
