Plington stood lazily in his stall. As usual boredom was shown in his sloppy posture, he was ignored nowadays anyway with the younger generation taking the limelight from their forefathers. Old stud shifted his weight slightly from one side to the other with simple movements, then moving forward to the bars, ears alert at the sound of a quickly passing commotion down the corridor.
Winnie Sharphowl chuckled softly, thinking of something so random that it made her laugh. She blushed when another stablehand looked at her weirdly. Rolling her eyes, she would have her attention caught by the grey stud that was standing ever so patiently in a stall. She smirked as she stopped, "Hey boy.. You are a new boarder here?"
Plington ears perked up as a few stablehands passed, then went back down as they left. His eyes seemed to sparkle as he was finally given some form of attention, walking forward, bright and alert like any much younger horse as though amazed at something truely fasincating. He didn't have a clue what she was saying but it seemed to be the novelty of just being paid attention to which brightened him up.
Winnie Sharphowl giggled, slipping her hand through the stall bars cautiously, watching for anything threatening that came from the stud. If nothing was threatened, she would stroke the stud's velvety muzzle. "Mm, good boy. I think you'll fit in just fine here." Smile remained on female's mouth as she watched the grey stud. If only she was allowed to own a stallion.
Plington flicked his eas slightly at her reaction, though showed no signs of aggression or dislike instead, being the soppy big bird he was, relished her attention. Even after being ignored for God knows how long he was still as soft as a big puppy anyway, and after a few moments would begin licking Winnie's hand. Nobody knew why he did it but I suppose its better than biting?
Winnie Sharphowl laughed to herself, feeling the wet tongue being dragged across her hand. "Kisses. Such a cute habit." Win loved the horses that kissed, it was such a cute thing to show younger kids. She sighed as she looked at her watch. "Ugh, sorry boy. I have to move on. But I'll for sure come back again."
