Gasp! Could it be?
Yes, due to popular demand I am bringing back my old dream The Canine Association. Some of you remember TCA, which I first started uploading in late 2005.
Cinnebar (aka Irri) and I got to talking last night and discussed ways to make it better and improve on the old concepts. Many of you fondly remember TCA and I would love to hear what you would like to see. Here is the basic rundown of the dream.
Events held will be agility, flyball, obedience, and conformation. There are solid plans for rally and weight pull, which will be easily added in the future.
The dream will consist of a main building that will house registration, sale pens, a small vet office, and indoor show/training rings. Outside there will be more outdoor rings as well as a small park. A second building will house kennels, which is the "big change" for TCA.
There will be rentable kennels, rentable in the same fashion that stalls are at FSF (i.e., you apply, we approve you). These rentable kennels will be very basic, with just a few kennel runs and a small grooming area. By earning points, you can customize your kennel -- different color schemes, beds, better equipment, toy dispensers, etc. These will be permanent, not like a BAH. There will also be dream portals in this building for furres to upload their own personal kennel dreams (recommended). Points are earned through winning/placing in events, and can also be purchased with scale or Digo donations.
Right now I am in the process of fixing up all of my old canine avatars, which will be featured -- the Pomeranian, the Greyhound, and the Wirehaired Fox Terrier will all be back, new, and improved! The sheltie will also be in the dream, and we've lined up some other avatars now.
If you want to get involved in some fashion, simply reply here. Ideas are welcome (if you think they're really juicy, PM them to me) and talented patchers can certainly be put to work. You will be lavishly rewarded with points for doing artwork for the dream. I'll also need to hire some staff members!
