**The dream rating for FSF is PG-13. Profanity is allowed, but racial/derogatory slurs are not, and will earn you a swift ejection. Mild amounts of violence are allowed. Breeding is only allowed in secluded areas with the OOC consent of all involved.**
1. Remember that this dream may be used by anyone and that not everyone is a strict roleplayer. Persona roleplayers and OOCers are more than welcome. No one should harass or interrupt anyone else. Treat others the way you would like to be treated!
2. In the strict roleplay that most of us subscribe to, all horses are considered to age one year on January 1st. This is simply to keep things uniform, and so that people don't try to 'sneak' years onto their character.
3. By roleplaying a feral animal in strict roleplay here, you essentially hand over your 'rights' -- to either FSF in general, or your owner. Your owner calls the shots. They decide if you should be bred, to whom you should be bred, whom you are turned out with, etc.; as this is exactly how it is in the real world, which is why we follow this rule quite closely. You can obviously discuss things OOC if things are really bugging you, but it -is- the owner's final decision to choose what to do with you IC.
4. When roleplaying, devices such as 'fading to black', 'retcon'(only in SERIOUS, injury/death-related scenarios), and 'timestops'(which do NOT just have to be used for combat) are PERFECTLY LEGAL. This is why you should ALWAYS ask before jumping into a roleplay. For more information on these devices, we invite you to investigate this article, Mastering the Art of Strict Roleplaying, from the Furcadia website.
5. Anyone wishing to play out an event that could seriously affect not just your character, but others who may not be involved in the roleplay at the time, must discuss it with the dream owner first. A prime example of this is a contagious disease.
6. The property is generally considered inescapable. Remember, this complex was built with intelligent, large eventing horses in mind!
7. It is -everyone's- responsibility to keep the dream clean. Clean up the feeding area when you're done with it, and if you see any items that are out of place, please put them where they belong.
8. The use of drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited on FSF property. This includes cigarettes. The property is smoke-free.
9. Feral animals don't talk in character. Period.
10. True 'ferals', in the sense of wild and/or untamed animals, are not permitted on FSF property. We don't have stray animals just wandering about. Some exceptions might be made if someone really wants to play a bird of prey, deer, or other critter that might be encountered on the trails.
11. Don't idle in front of doors. Generally, the only place to idle is your stall or an unclaimed stall, or the OOC area.
12. Do not directly damage the dream. Examples of this include kicking in walls, breaking fences, breaking windows, etc. If you would like to include this in your roleplay, please clear it with the dream owner first.
13. If you are going to roleplay here, please change to acceptable, realistic colors. Acceptable colors can be found here. If you think you're using a color that should be allowed, politely discuss it with the dream owner.
14. Do nothing in this dream to cause drama. This includes, but is not limited to, using alts to insult other furres, taking things that /should/ be private and dragging them out into the public, trying to get friends to 'pick sides' in a disagreement, bickering over show/auction results, powergaming/twinking during a roleplay, bringing IC things OOC, bringing OOC things IC, or arguing with staff members over a dream-related decision.
15. No more than three horses should be turned out in a paddock at the same time. No more than six horses should be turned out in the pasture at the same time. These rules include foals at side and 'pasture buddies' such as Miniatures. Also, stallions are -never- to be turned out with mares except for breeding purposes.
