Winnie Sharphowl. One of Win's duties was to go by each new boarders stall and see if the horse was fit for FSF. This was probably one of her favorite parts of her job, aside from working the horses and riding them. Coming across the stallions stall, she would look down at his clipboard. "Hey boy." She would say softly, placing a paw in between the bars, facing perpindicular to the ground, that way if the stud was a biter, he wouldn't be able to get her fingers.
Regency paced in the stall, eager for attention. Ears flicked toward the sound of feet against the floor, eyes flittering toward the right. Rain approached the bars, toward the female, pressing his nose against them. A warm sigh of relief was let out, liquid onyx gleaming toward the furre. His coat was dyed bay and it shone in the flourescent lights, tinting it slightly. Lips parted, nibbling against her skin. It was as if he was begging for a treat, or rather, a bit of attention. His owner had yet to visit, seeing as she'd had an emergency to attend. For now, however, this would suit.
Winnie Sharphowl chuckled as she watched the stud push his muzzle against her paw so desperately. "Such a friendly boy, aren't you?" Hand would withdraw from the stall bars, and would dive into her pocket, pulling out a few sugar cubes. These rested in her palm as she slipped it through the bars, offering them to him.
Regency. Lips moved toward her fingers moreso. His tongue emerged, gulping at the treat. Rain would neigh gloriously, bobbing his head up and down. How adorable. Such a sucker for treats, too. Eyes stayed on her face, memorizing it. Onyx tail flicked against a fly or two, smacking it to it's death on the straw. A leg was raised, kicking at the stall door softly. "More, please." He'd seem to whinny toward the furre.
Winnie Sharphowl laughed, watching his antics after he gulped the treats. Reaching back into her pocket, she would pull out one more sugar cube, and would offer it to him. If he did take it, which she was sure he would, she would speak softly, "That's all I have boy.. But you're a sweety, so I'll make sure I bring some whenever I come by."
Regency had grown fond of the furre already. Rain nibbled at the treat, merely biting on it before swallowing. Soon, he'd rub his nose against the bars and her fingers, pressing them tightly. The slight trail of hair between his ears was coarse and untamed, flying in all sorts of directions. His mane was the same, unruly and it was clear it hadn't been brushed for a a week or so. However, despite this, his body was extremely well fed - indeed, Rain had gotten a bit chubby. He'd whinny as he rubbed his nose on her fingers, happy as could be.
Winnie Sharphowl laughed, rubbing the stud's muzzle. "I don't understand why my mom won't let me have a stallion. Some of them can be so nice." She would say softly to herself, still petting the stallion's velvety nose. "Just a couple more years." She would whisper again, before looking up at Rain. "Hmm, to bad I'm not a trainer. But I can still ride you, if it's okay with your new owner."
Regency sighed again, warm air spewing through his nostrils. It didn't do the situation justice to say he adored the attention. A back leg would raise slightly, resting on his hoof. He'd nudge his muzzle against the bars, swinging it back and forth, wanting more. Rain wouldn't mind be ridden, obviously, but of course he couldn't ask his momma or this female to do so. d**n his ability not to speak english. He snorted softly, showing that his dispostion was indeed gentle.
Winnie Sharphowl smiled as she watched the stud relax. "If I got a stud like you, I think Wynd would be just fine." Shaking her head, she would pat his muzzle once more before looking around, "Well boy, I gotta go look at the other new boarders. I'll be back sometime."
