For horses boarding here at Four Star Farms, we offer...
--Friendly atmosphere
--The attention of our dedicated staff
--A bias-free environment, with no preference for certain breeds
--Customized feed
--Daily turn-out with horses your owner/caretaker specified
--Adjacent stalls for horses owned by the same person
--Daily stall-stripping and periodic sifting
--Private, high-quality stalls
--On-site veterinary service
--Multiple outdoor riding arenas, lighted
--One indoor riding arena, lighted, heated, and air-conditioned with adjacent viewing area
1. If you miss an activity check, your stall will be taken away and given to someone who will put more use into it.
2. We only give out stalls to horses that frequent the dream. If we like your application but haven't seen you around much, your application will be put on hold until we make a final decision.
3. Obviously, stalls will not be given to players who break the rules.
4. Horses must be lead-broke to be boarded at FSF. Exceptions are made for very young foals.
1. Applications must be grammatically correct and spell-checked or they will be deleted. One or two minor errors will be overlooked but anything more than that will cause your application to be denied. Spelling your character's breed improperly results in automatic denial.
2. Horses that have "mates" or "herds" are not what we are looking for. This is realistic horse-and-rider roleplay.
3. Realize that this is modern-day, realistic roleplay. Although we allow furres, that is really the only deviation from real life that we allow. Mythical creatures and magic do not exist here. Horse colors must be realistic.
4. Feeding requirements need to be realistic. It is not hard to do a little bit of research through Google to find out what horses eat. It does not need to be complex and you do not need to cite specific brands of feed.
5. The subject of your application needs to be JUST your character's registered name. Not "So-and-so's Application", no extra punctuation, just "Name".
6. Horses must have an owner to board here. For-sale horses are allowed by invitation only. You cannot ask for an invitation... if Wynd feels your character has potential as an eventing horse, she will invite you. We will assign you to a trainer and/or exercise rider who will work with you and develop you.
When your boarding application has been approved, you must roleplay with a staff member as soon as possible to finalize your application. The roleplay must consist of at least four posts from each character. (There is no maximum.) If the staff member feels your roleplaying abilities are inadequate, they will not give you a stall.* You must then post the roleplay under that month's activity check. Wynd will add your stall nameplate to the dream as soon as possible.
*=As long as posts are realistic, relatively error-free, 3 lines or more, and do not contain "auto-hitting"/assumption of other characters' movements, they are fine. We aren't trying to be the "roleplay police" and you don't have to roleplay just like the staff member; we're just trying to ensure that all boarders are capable of at least literate "semi-para" roleplay.
Please fill out the following in a new post in this forum, with the subject of your post as the horse's full name.
Remember that you will need to roleplay at least once a month once your application has been approved. Failure to do so will result in loss of your stall. The roleplay must take place in the FSF dream and can be with anyone, as long as it is not your alt.
