Posted on a tack-board in the interior of the ranch-house, in an untidy scrawl, is a crumpled piece of paper. Due to obligations that require me to return to my family back home, I am unable to bring my boy Indiana back with me. He is a young dog, only about three years old, and a fine specimen of a pit bull dog. He is well-versed in the tasks dogs should perform on a farm and would be a fine companion and working animal for anyone willing to take him on.----------------------- About Indy: Name: Indiana, or Indy for short. Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Standard (AKC, UKC, ADBA, etc.): ADBA Coloration: Buckskin Age: Approximately three years. Important Traits to Note:- Typical of the breed, Indy is reactive to/can be aggressive with other dogs, a trait that must be managed by anyone that adopts him. - Indy is an athletic, sturdy dog that needs plenty of exercise, activity, and stimulation. Spring poles, treadmills, and flirt poles work wonders with pit bulls. - Has a tendency to be stubborn, despite his keen intelligence, and can be a handful for an inexperienced owner. Whoever adopts him must be as strong-willed and stubborn as he is! - Very affectionate with people, especially children, though he may overwhelm a very young child with his over exuberant greetings.
